Lucy and the Lonk

Lucy had a little Lonk

That no-one else could see

A little like a marmoset,

A little like a bee,

A little like a platypus

But nothing like a snake;

She kept it in a biscuit tin

And fed it on plum cake

Lucy’s Lonk liked making friends

And shouted out ‘hello’

But everyone who passed her by

Just didn’t want to know

‘Cos people are afraid of Lonks

Although they cannot see’em

But if they could, they’d probably put

Them in a Lonk Museum
